Job Title: RBT Behavioral Therapist (Entry-Level)

Location: Columbus, OH 

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time  

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour  

Expected Hours: 15 – 40 per week

Position Overview:

We are looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team as Behavioral Therapists. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD. Key Responsibilities:

– Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.

– Provide direct, one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

– Collect and accurately record data on client progress and behavior.

– Assist in the development and execution of individualized treatment goals.

– Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to create and maintain a positive therapeutic environment.

– Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain strict confidentiality of client information.

 

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.

– Experience working with children is required.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.

– Reliable transportation to travel to the clinic.

– Ability to pass a background check.

 

Bonus Qualifications:

– Previous experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.

– Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.

– Familiarity with data collection methods and behavior tracking software.

– Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (If not certified, you will have the option to join our free RBT certification program upon hire).

 

Skills Needed:

– Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD.

– Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies effectively.

– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new situations quickly.
