Qu'est-ce qui vous passionne ?

Au travail : Aider les clients et les parents à atteindre de nouveaux objectifs, en particulier ceux qui augmentent l'indépendance du client et réduisent le stress des parents/soignants. Vie personnelle : J'adore être entraîneur de volley-ball et aider les jeunes filles à acquérir les compétences nécessaires pour devenir non seulement une bonne joueuse, mais aussi une bonne coéquipière et une bonne amie !

Qu'est-ce qui vous plaît le plus dans votre travail chez Advanced Behavioral Therapy ?

Le soutien et l'esprit d'équipe que tout le monde partage ! Je sais que je peux m'adresser à n'importe qui dans l'entreprise pour demander de l'aide et qu'ils prendront le temps de s'assurer que je me sens soutenue et préparée à aider mes clients/familles et les RBT. Je suis également reconnaissante et enthousiasmée par les nouvelles opportunités qui m'ont été données de superviser le personnel qui poursuit sa licence BCBA et le programme de postcure !

Pourquoi avez-vous choisi de poursuivre une carrière dans la thérapie ABA ?

Après avoir obtenu mon master en psychologie de l'orientation, j'ai toujours cherché quelque chose de plus. Lorsque j'ai découvert la science de l'analyse appliquée du comportement, alors que je travaillais en milieu scolaire, j'ai trouvé un domaine d'étude qui avait du sens et qui m'a donné envie de suivre cette voie. J'ai eu l'occasion de voir mes clients acquérir des compétences et progresser de tant de façons. Je savais que l'ABA était le bon choix pour moi.

Quelle expérience variée avez-vous dans votre domaine ?

Je travaille dans le domaine de l'ABA depuis 1997, d'abord en milieu scolaire avec des enfants âgés de 3 à 21 ans. J'ai également travaillé avec des adultes à leur domicile et dans des programmes de jour pendant de nombreuses années.

RCP/premiers secours, formateur certifié en gestion de crise : Intervention verbale, contrôle personnel et techniques défensives dans les situations de crise

Apprendre à nos apprenants à se défendre et à vivre de la manière la plus indépendante possible.

Nous avons la possibilité d'exercer dans un environnement éthique et solidaire, avec un développement professionnel continu. J'apprécie le fait que mes collègues partagent les mêmes valeurs au sein de l'entreprise. C'est un privilège de travailler côte à côte avec nos familles dans leurs foyers pour améliorer la vie de nos apprenants.

J'ai travaillé dans le domaine de l'éducation spécialisée pendant de nombreuses années et j'apprécie le soutien ciblé que les enfants reçoivent avec l'ABA pour acquérir les compétences dont ils ont besoin pour naviguer dans le monde et améliorer leur vie.

J'ai travaillé dans l'éducation en tant qu'administrateur de l'éducation spécialisée pendant plus de 15 ans.

Je suis également titulaire d'une licence d'administration des services aux élèves délivrée par le ministère de l'éducation de l'Ohio.

Je voulais travailler avec des enfants ayant des besoins particuliers afin d'améliorer leur qualité de vie.

Avez-vous des centres d'intérêt particuliers ?
En ABA, je suis très intéressée par le développement du langage et l'application de l'ABA en dehors de l'autisme (santé, fitness, animaux, etc.).

Quelle expérience variée avez-vous dans votre domaine ?

J'ai travaillé dans le traitement résidentiel, en tant que spécialiste du comportement dans un environnement scolaire, en tant que gestionnaire de cas à domicile dans le cadre de l'ABA, et maintenant en tant que responsable d'un centre.

Quelles sont les licences, certifications et/ou formations spéciales que vous possédez ?

Je suis BCBA et COBA. J'ai été certifiée en CPI, TCI, et je suis actuellement certifiée en QBS. J'ai également été formatrice TCI. J'ai suivi une variété de cours CEU pour en savoir plus sur SBT, ACT et ABA dans le domaine du fitness.

Qu'est-ce qui vous passionne ?

Je suis passionnée par l'aide apportée aux clients pour répondre à leurs besoins. J'aime résoudre les problèmes et dépanner les compétences avec lesquelles les clients ont des difficultés. J'aime toujours voir un dépannage réussi :)
